Society Hill Anesthesia Consultants, PC (SHAC) is the leading provider of anesthesia services in the Greater Philadelphia area.  We are the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at four hospitals and sixteen ambulatory surgical centers in Philadelphia and surrounding counties, plus southern New Jersey*. 

Our dedication to high quality anesthesia services expands far beyond the operating room. While patient care is our number one priority, we understand and embrace the key role that anesthesia plays in the production and efficiency of each institution.  We work closely with the leadership and administration at each site to provide patients, their families, and our surgical and obstetric colleagues with the best possible perioperative experience in the region.

  • Committed to Serving Our Community

    Society Hill Anesthesia Consultants, PC (SHAC) is proud to support community-based organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area. In honor of MLK Day of Service, SHAC organized a warm coat and clothing drive to support the Philadelphia chapter of Cradles to Crayons – a charity that provides children living in homeless or low-income situations with essential items they need to thrive at home and at school.
